Diversity. Unity. Inclusion.

East Sussex is home to individuals and families from all races, religions, and nationalities. This diversity is what makes the very essence of East Sussex.

To celebrate diversity and bring communities together, DRI hosts an annual celebration in which communities from all backgrounds come together. Unfortunately, due to covid-19, we were unable to hold a celebration last year.

After a difficult and long year and a half of isolation, it is ever so important to come together and rejoice in unity.  That is why, with lockdown restrictions easing, DRI will finally host the big celebration this year in Eastbourne. The event will be filled with beautiful colours, delicious international food, and entertainment for both adults and children. There will also be stalls set up by statutory agencies and voluntary and community groups to provide information on services available for ethnically diverse communities.

By organising such community involvement events, we aim to empower communities and increase community cohesion.

If you would like to get involved- come along to our community planning meeting on the 7th of July (18:30 PM). Register here: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJEpcO6trDkvHNbR8ChpCrsEYUImdqhPZoWA
