DRI is delighted to welcome Aqsa and Julie to the team. Our Community Development Interns joined us earlier this week and will be staying with us  for 6-8 weeks.

They will be supporting DRI’s community development activities whilst leading their own projects, Aqsa will be carrying out engagement in West Sussex while Julie will be focusing on organising a diversity celebration event in Eastbourne.

Please see introductions below;

I am extremely delighted to get offered an intern position at Diversity Resource International and hope to share and learn knowledge along the way. I’m excited to be working with you all and look forward to meeting you personally in the upcoming weeks.’

‘My name is Julie Gedeon. I am a 21 year old student from Lebanon. I am a soon-to-be graduate from the University of Sussex studying international development and sociology. I hope to continue my education this year with a masters in Gender, Violence, and Conflict.
