Course tutors Mebrak Ghebreweldi and Simon McLaren have welcomed 11 new recruits to the classes taking place every Saturday in Eastbourne Town Hall. Scheduled speakers include professionals from children’s services, education, NHS, immigration and benefits.
Speaking at a recent meeting of the DRI board of directors, Simon was positive about the latest recruits. “We are delighted to have selected such motivated individuals and confident that each of the participants on this course is destined to provide a real benefit to the communities in Sussex.”
Languages represented on the course include Albanian, Polish, Arabic, Romanian, Russian and Bulgarian.
