The workshop will feature three speakers on their different areas of expertise, as well as team challenges, a feedback opportunity, tea, coffee and a light lunch.


Tove Steen Sørensen-Bentham – Leadership & Management Consultant
Tove has worked in senior management in the public and independent sectors since 1982. She has an LLM and MSc. Tove has been a non-executive director of different local NHS organisations from 1996 – 2006. She is currently a governor of an academy through school.

Pat Taylor – Strategy and Partnerships Lead – Thriving Communities, for Lewes and Eastbourne Councils
Pat qualified in Social Work in 1982 and holds a CQSW and MA in Social Work. She then worked at the Brighton and Hove Community Resource Centre for 10 years with hundreds of local groups and activists, before moving on to work with homeless people.

Mebrak Ghebreweldi – Founder and Director of Diversity Resource International and Vandu Language Services
Mebrak is a Social Entrepreneur in residence at the University of Brighton. She is an executive coach registered with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Mebrak has established a strong professional reputation in offering effective support, guidance and inspiration to international migrants, has been recognised by the public and private sector for her strong leadership attributes, and is a member of several public sector policy advisory boards.
