Diversity Resource International (DRI) is a non-profit, Community Interest Company (C.I.C) based in Lewes, Sussex, working to reduce inequalities and create opportunities for ethnically diverse and migrant communities across South East of England.
We work alongside ethnically diverse individuals, communities, researchers, public services and local organisations to tackle barriers to healthcare, wellbeing and social inclusion. Our aim is to ensure that everyone, regardless of their background, has equal opportunities to be heard, supported and involved in decisions that affect their lives.
Through funded community projects, research, training and partnerships, we connect people with opportunities, amplify underrepresented voices and help organisations better understand and respond to the needs of diverse communities.
Our work is shaped by lived experience. As a community-led organisation, we draw on first-hand experiences of migration, discrimination and inequality to develop practical solutions that create meaningful and lasting change.
We develop and deliver community-led projects that support ethnically diverse and migrant communities across Sussex and the surrounding areas.
We support and engage in research into the experiences of marginalised communities and make sure that findings are actioned and the communities are fed back to. Our research is led by expert academics and community researchers.
